DAY BY DAY

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

 Depart from Entebbe or Kampala early in the morning, ensuring ample time for the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

 The drive to Bwindi takes you through scenic landscapes, including rolling hills, terraced farmland, and dense forests.

 Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop at local markets and villages to interact with the communities and learn about their way of life.

 Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the late afternoon and check into your chosen accommodation, ranging from luxury lodges to budget-friendly campsites.

 Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying dinner at the lodge, soaking in the serene atmosphere of the forest.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

 Rise early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations.

 Receive your assigned gorilla trekking group and set off into the forest with experienced guides and trackers.

 Trekking through Bwindi dense vegetation can be challenging, but the reward of encountering mountain gorillas in their natural habitat makes it all worthwhile.

 Spend an unforgettable hour observing the gorillas as they go about their daily activities, including feeding, grooming, and playing.

 After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and a well-deserved rest.

 In the afternoon, you may choose to participate in optional activities such as a guided nature walk or a visit to a local community to learn about their culture and traditions.

 Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the lodge, reliving the day gorilla encounter.

Day 3: Relax and Explore Lake Bunyonyi

 After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda.

 Arrive at your chosen accommodation on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi and check in.

 Lake Bunyonyi offers a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy, including canoeing, swimming, birdwatching, and hiking.

 Spend the day exploring the lake and its surroundings at your leisure, taking in the stunning scenery and tranquil atmosphere.

 Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake or at a scenic spot overlooking the water.

 In the evening, relax by the lakeshore and watch the sunset, followed by dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe

 After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and begin the

journey back to Entebbe.

 The drive takes approximately 6-7 hours, passing through rural villages

and countryside.

 Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to stop for refreshments and

stretch your legs.

 Arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your

preferred location, marking the end of your memorable gorilla trekking

and Lake Bunyonyi experience.
